Privacy Policy
About this policy
This policy explains how Memora handles information when you use its photo and frame-design features. Operator: Cesar Canaza, an individual operating Memora in the United States, at 227 Cherry St, New York, NY 10002. Privacy contact: cesar@memoraus.org.
Information used to provide Memora
When you create or sign in to an account, Firebase Authentication processes account identifiers and authentication information. If you choose Facebook Login, the integration requests public profile and email permission; email may not be supplied by Facebook. Memora uses authenticated identity to establish an app session and authorize access.
Photos and frame designs
Memora processes photos you select or capture and the frame settings you edit. Camera access is requested for capture. Selecting a photo does not grant access to your entire photo library. Local capture and editing can create temporary files. Cloud storage and sharing, when available and explicitly used, require separate processing of submitted content and related metadata.
Service providers and security
Memora uses Google Firebase and Google Cloud for configured authentication, app-integrity checks and backend services. Facebook handles the Facebook sign-in flow you choose. These providers process information according to their respective services and policies. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.
Advertising and analytics
The Android Facebook integration disables automatic App Events logging and advertiser-ID collection. It does not request permissions to read your Facebook photos, friends or posts. These policy pages do not use advertising cookies, analytics scripts or tracking pixels. Hosting and backend providers process technical request information, such as IP addresses and request timestamps, to deliver and secure their services.
AI and optional services
Available features may vary by release. Customer-facing AI processing is not currently enabled. Internal frame-design experiments use synthetic text with Google Vertex AI, not customer photos. Before enabling customer AI processing, we will explain the data sent, purpose and provider, update this policy and request the control or consent appropriate to the feature. This policy must be updated before adding a new data-processing purpose.
Retention and deletion
We keep account information and content to provide the service while your account is active. Cesar Canaza personally handles deletion requests sent to cesar@memoraus.org and completes account and associated personal-data deletion within 30 days, after checking that the request is from the account holder. Technical records held by infrastructure providers follow their service retention settings. If law requires retention of a specific record, we will explain the record, reason and applicable period when responding to your request. Removing Facebook authorization or uninstalling the app does not itself delete a Memora account. See the data-deletion instructions for the request process.
Your choices and rights
You can manage camera access through your device settings and choose whether to use a social sign-in provider. You may contact the operator about access, correction or deletion of your information. Rights and applicable procedures depend on your location. Send requests to cesar@memoraus.org. We may ask you to confirm control of the email associated with your account to protect your privacy. You may also raise a concern with the privacy authority in your jurisdiction where applicable.
Children and changes
If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about a child’s personal information in Memora, contact cesar@memoraus.org to request review or deletion. Only submit another person’s photo or information when you have the necessary authority or permission. Material changes to these practices will be reflected in an updated policy and any additional notice required by applicable law.
